A day that is filled with love. I enjoy seeing people taking the time to express their love. I went into Walmart and saw men and women picking up the last minute gifts. Slim pickings, but they were making it work. Sunshine, blue skies, airplanes flying, birds singing, children smiling. In Louisiana, we are preparing for Mardi Gras-a total commitment to fun times. Sigh-gotta love life!
We know this day comes every year. Maybe Americans have really come to the point that we truly feel like we celebrate like this every day. What a concept!
My kids in my classroom certainly celebrate every day. They still needed 20 reminders to stay quiet. Inside recess because of the rain caused a lot of restlessness. Candy for the teacher. Games for the kids. Great times!! Fundraiser ducks cause triple excitement. I'm taking a hint from my kids-live your life everyday. Cry if you have to. Dance if you want to. Sleep when you are tired. Crave the playtime in your life!
Happy Valentine's Day. This has been the best one I've had in years. God is the best valentine ever. A 24 hour listening ear. An abundance of love on continuous stream. No one compares. I'm truly in love with my Jehovah. He continues to amaze me beyond my imagination.
I am challenging myself to walk beside Him and follow Jesus for 1000 days. I am currently on day 938 counting down. I can only imagine where we will go next.
May you find the love you've always desired. Peace and Joy comes pretty close behind.
